Excellent cleanliness and the 'welcome' gestures (wine, chocs, etc) were a very nice touch. This home was a pure delight in terms of British self-catering. This should be the standard level of quality, not the exception. Excellent quality! We would definitely recommend to others.

All superb - quality was outstanding. Cormorant House has been a wonderful base for a late summer break. A beautiful, clean and wonderfully well equipped house. The DVD collection got a huge 'thumbs up' from our 18 and 16 year olds! We will return and recommend. Thanks, Louise, Gareth and family. Not a complaint but the only thing I looked for and failed to find was an apron to wear when cooking - a very minor thing though!
Good suggestion - apron has now been placed in the kitchen for your next visit!

WHAT A JOY - to walk into this immaculate home - we ran out of superlatives to express our utter delight at finding the BEST accommodation ever - every surface shone and the quality of everything from the pots and pans to the pillows was noted. What an enormous effort - there should really be a 6 star rating - but I think you would exceed even that! I love to cook and found every utensil I needed including a sharp knife!! My daughter was delighted with her custom-made room - the poetry book was a particular hit with us. Thank you also for the wine (delicious) and chocs/fruit, etc. We enjoyed all. We would love to come again to enjoy the wonderful coastal scenery and beaches.

Very clean and pleasant. Kids really enjoyed books, DVDs and cutlery. We are keen on crosswords and missed having a dictionary. Bracket missing on BBQ and sun lounge door sticking and handle loose on outside.
Dictionary now in situ, BBQ bracket replaced and new door handle fitted on Sun Lounge door with no more sticking.

The house was absolutely immaculate and the standards of cleanliness were first class. The best holiday home we have stayed in. The house had everything you could ask for but children's cutlery would have been useful. We have had a fantastic time in such a relaxing, outstanding property. Spotless and excellent, cleanest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The 'family cook' would have loved a 'cook's' knife ie. a larger cutting knife. We have had a wonderful stay and cannot fault our week. We've found the cottage a home from home and have loved every moment here. All the extras were lovely - thank you! We hope to come back next year.

Deckchairs have been placed in the garage for guests to take to the beach along with a few beach games.

Excellent standard. Very clean and furnished to a very high standard. Really appreciated the quality of the welcome pack. Great selection of guide books and leaflets, etc. Some really nice touches like the children’s books, toys, etc. – the shark was a big hit! Also great to have washing powder, dishwasher tabs, etc. Would definitely recommend the cottage to friends and family.

Very enjoyable stay – should have booked 2 weeks. Excellent to have some children’s toys and books, etc. The finishing touches make a very good impression.
Suggestion: A blackout blind would have been good for the front twin room and a bolt on the gate would completely secure the garden for little ones.

We have had an excellent time. It was very useful to have a ‘welcome pack’ of essential items like milk, tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs – wine and nibbles also appreciated! Thank you also for the books and toys that were here for the children – again greatly appreciated. It would be very helpful if these could be here when we return again in July.
